The Story

Challenge:

Lawrence House offers music, visual art, literature, performances and children’s art programs. Through a newspaper article, The Judith & Norman Alix Foundation learned this centre for the arts was in financial strife and had approached the city for funding, without which it could not continue to operate.

Solution

The Judith & Norman Alix Foundation gave Lawrence House $50,000 to keep the organization on track.

 

Project Status

The funds are used to maintain the operation of the facility.

 

Result

Lawrence House today continues to enrich young and old alike with its art exhibitions, plays, musical performances and children’s programs.
