Challenge

The Lions Club of Petrolia mission is “To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.” The community work of the Lions Club of Petrolia has had an impact on the lives of the people in Petrolia the surrounding area and in south-western Ontario since 1932. Their support of activities and groups not only improves the quality of life of affected youth and adults but their families as well. Their focus is in these areas: Humanitarian, Youth, Sight and Hearing and Community Betterment. To support their fundraising activities, the Lions Club needed to purchase a new food trailer to replace their old one which required too many costly repairs to keep it safe and functional.
